“Now we have a stable platform for growth”
In one fell swoop, West International moved from a several-years-old version of Jeeves to the latest version, Jeeves Universal, whose structure is more process-oriented. Before the upgrade, the company evaluated several other systems, but the decision was made to stick with Jeeves, a decision West International is grateful for today.
West International was founded in 1988 and since then has been one of the leading distributors of equipment to banking and retail, with an emphasis on cash and information terminals, card readers, printers, and scanners. Their goal is to become a leading provider of solutions for future cash and payment systems in the Nordic countries.
“Achieving growth of 30%–40% a year demanded a lot from us but also a lot from our ERP system. We were running an older version of Jeeves: Jeeves 5.0. The Jeeves Universal upgrade to 1.0 was a necessary and natural step in creating a stable platform for continued growth,” says Andreas Lindén, CFO at West International.
SUPPORTS INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION
A number of other systems were evaluated before the decision was made to upgrade to Jeeves Universal. The conclusion was that the new version of Jeeves was the system that would best support West International in its international expansion. Determining factors were Jeeves’ comprehensive language management, web-shop solution, sales support, and intercompany transactions (ICT).
