Audit & Auditor
The Company’s auditors are Ernst & Young, with principal auditor Michael Forss.
Current audit assignments cover ongoing auditing, review of the half-yearly report, and audits of the annual accounts. After year-end, the auditors present significant issues and the consequent interpretations, as well as how accounting has progressed overall in the Company. The Company’s auditors normally participate in the AGM and attend Board meetings on special issues. The auditors submit their audit memorandum to the Board of Directors.
The Board actively deals with accounting issues. Major changes to accounting policies and their interpretation are discussed with the auditors.
The Board recommends auditor candidates to the AGM. Procurement of the audit assignment normally occurs every four years. Part of procurement entails agreeing on the direction and scope of the audit.
